March at Curate Church

Happy Friday Church, or as some would say Fri-Yay!!! 🎉

We’ve farewelled Summer and although that may come with a few sighs, for me the month of March was my favourite last year, the sun is still shining bright with a slight whisper that change is in the air. Having lived in Queensland where there are really only two seasons we’ve found a new appreciation for the four seasons in Aotearoa and how they speak to the different seasons of our lives.

We've coined March "Miracle March." We believe miracles to be happening all around us and if we will just open our eyes to see them, expect them and have faith for them we will see them all the more. If you missed my message laying the foundation for this Miracle Season you can catch up on it here.

How has God been moving in your life this week?

If you'd like us to join with you in prayer for the miracle you are believing for, please let us know. And as you have a testimony of God’s miracle working power in your life please share them with us! We’ve already had one person share that last Sunday they wrote on the miracle card they were praying for a pay rise to help with their weekly costs and on Tuesday only 2 days later they were called into a meeting at work and given a pay rise! Another has reported healing from chronic muscle pain and another healing of her liver!!! THANK YOU JESUS! Believing for many testimonies in many areas of our lives this month. All while remembering God’s presence with us is the greatest miracle of all.

Below are a few exciting highlights we have over the month of March.

Child Dedications - Sunday 15 March

Children are such a gift! Child dedications are an opportunity for the church to stand in agreement and pray with parents and whanāu as they dedicate their children to the Lord and embark on this incredible journey of raising the children God has entrusted them with.

It would be our privilege to pray for you and your whanāu at one of our gatherings. We would encourage you to invite your family and friends for this special occasion as we all celebrate with you.

If you are wanting more information, or to register head to curatechurch.com/dedications.

If you're interested in getting involved come along and hear more about our heart for what we believe God wants to do in and through our creative team this year.

You're not committing to anything by coming to the info night! This is a chance to hear what we do, why and how.  6.30pm- 7.30pm, 37 Newton Street, Mount Maunganui

Water Baptism's - Sunday 5 April

Our next Water baptisms are coming up on Easter Resurrection Sunday, 5th April at both of our gatherings. We believe that water baptism is a central next step in our christian faith once we have made the incredible life changing decision to follow Jesus. Jesus himself was water baptised. Water baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What an opportunity to invite your family and friends to share this moment with you as you take your next step in your pursuit of Jesus. If you want to know more head to curatechurch.com/baptisms, or connect with one of our pastors on Sunday.
