Merry, Merry Christmas Curate Church!
Merry, Merry Christmas Curate Church!
What a beautiful year it’s been.
It’s been our family's first full year living in New Zealand and we wanted to take a minute to say how much we have loved getting to know you, the Curate community. You’ve become our family and we couldn’t be more proud to call you whānau 🙏🏽
We still can’t believe this Sunday (tomorrow) is our last Sunday Gathering of the year! We have planned some ridiculously fun things involving many from the Next Generation age groups throughout the gathering along with some pretty special worship moments, so definitely not one to miss.
AND… Christmas Day!!!
It brings us much joy that we have the opportunity to come together on Christmas Day. We get to celebrate Jesus, worship together, have some fun with the kids AND it wouldn’t be a Curate Christmas if we didn’t have some gifts to give out! We’d love to celebrate with you, it won’t be the same without you!
Below are also some extra key dates to mark in your diary. But from our family to yours, have a beautiful Christmas and a wonderful new year. Looking forward to experiencing all the Lord has for us together as a church community in 2026.
After our Christmas Day gathering, Curate Church will be on a Summer Sabbath. We’re taking this time to rest, delight in God and be fully present with family and friends. The church office will be closed during this time.
We're gathering again as a whole church on January 11th. For the month of January we’re going to be meeting at 10am on Sundays (January 11th / 18th / 25th). This is an opportunity for the entire church to take some extended time before and after to reconnect, eat, and catch up. We’ll return to meeting at 9am and 11am in February.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Sunday, January 18th - 10am Anointing Gathering
An anointing gathering is a special time when every person in the gathering who wishes to be anointed with oil can be. It’s a powerful moment of prayer and connection.
Sunday, January 18th - 6pm Worship Gathering
Come and experience the zeal with our returning youth from Youth Camp. It’s going to be an epic night of worshipping the Lord together!
We couldn’t be more expectant for what God is going to do this January in our youth at Camp Zeal! We’re believing for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and that He would ignite in them a fresh zeal for Him and His Church — that every student and leader would have a personal encounter with Jesus.
If you have young people in your life, you need to get them to Youth Camp! Find out more.
