How’s the Connection?

Hey church,

It’s Elle here! I’m the connect pastor and wanted to drop into your inbox to say "Hi!" and to talk about how good Sunday was! We loved sharing about our heart for Connect Groups and how vital they are for each of us as we grow in our faith. It was so great to show everyone our new church app and how to look through the list of all our Connect Groups. And making time during the gathering for whanaungatanga with brownie and hot drinks while we all chatted about groups was just the best!

If you missed it, or need a recap, we'd love you to watch the Sunday message from Nick.

Ultimately, as a church we’re going on a journey of walking into the future together in health in all aspects of life, and that requires two legs; one being Spirit-filled Sunday gatherings, and the second being flourishing Connect Groups.

We have a great range of groups to suit everyone - from weekly to monthly, Monday to Sunday, early mornings to evenings, men’s only to women’s only to mixed, Bible studies to prayer groups, hiking groups to mums groups - there is something for you!

"All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer... They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity... And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47)

READY TO FIND A CONNECT GROUP?

Just download the new church app, click on Groups, and look for one that suits you. Here's how that works -

1. Download the app from www.curatechurch.com/app

2. Add in your contact email, then verify who you are (a PIN code will be sent to your email)

3. Look at the Groups section on the app

Even if you are not looking for a Connect Group (or if you are already in one), downloading the new Curate Church app will help you to stay more connected with the life of the church.

We're super looking forward to this Sunday where we get to celebrate the men in our community for Father's Day, and then on Tuesday we have a Men's Event Gathering.  It's going to be SO good!

Arohanui,

Elle, Curate Connect Pastor
