Plan a Visit this Easter
We’re so stoked you’re thinking about visiting Curate Church this Easter. We know turning up somewhere new for the first time can be a bit daunting. We want to help make your first experience at church a great one by letting you know what you can expect. We are having a 10am Friday Gathering, a 10am Sunday Gathering and then a 6pm worship night where we mostly have music and singing.
What can I expect?
Expect to feel welcome and loved at Curate Church. Come as you are, no matter; your world view, age, race, gender, life story… you are welcome. When you arrive, our car park team (the people in hi-vis gear) will help you find a park nearby our Curate building. Once you’re at our building expect a warm welcome as our guest, someone to show you the ropes and a supportive community of people just like you. If you turn up a little early, you’ll be able to grab a free barista-made coffee or cup of tea from our café team.

Easter Friday and Sunday at Curate Church will be casual and relaxed. You don’t need to buy a ticket, dress a certain way, or bring anything special. Turn up, meet new people, listen to music and be part of an inspiring talk, delivered by one of our team. We open the doors to the auditorium 5 mins before the gathering start time. Our auditoriums are like a standard small stage theatre - there are comfortable seats, a stage, stage lighting, musical instruments, and projector screens. Our team will help you find a seat if you need – but you can sit anywhere you like with the people you came with.
How long is a Curate gathering?
In total, the ‘sit down’ part of a Curate Church gathering is about 75 minutes in length. Gatherings begin with the Curate music team leading the church with some music or “worship”. After the worship portion of the gathering is complete, someone will share an inspiring, encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
What about my kids?
Our community is very family orientated and we believe that church should be fun for kids. So, at Curate Church, we make kids a priority. At every service, we run an on-site kids care programme while the adults are in the gathering. Our kids' programme is not only fun but safe too.
-
Our kids' team members are police checked, and hand-picked because they genuinely love kids - many of them are pre-school or primary school teachers during the week.
To ensure your kids are safe, we have a detailed check-in process for our Curate Kids and Intermediates programme the first time that you visit. Make sure you give yourself an extra fifteen minutes to get signed in for the Curate Kids experience. Our check-in process includes getting your phone number so we can message you if your kids become upset and want to see you.
Curate Kids has age-appropriate spaces and activities for Toddlers and PreSchoolers, as well as School Kids. Intermediates is a programme especially for Year 7 & 8 students.
We also have a Parents Room in every location for parents with babies. These rooms have changing and feeding facilities and enable you to connect with the gathering with your little one.
