The Curate Auckland story started as a dream to bring everything that’s special about Curate Mt Maunganui to Auckland. From its announcement in 2018 to its launch in March 2021 its been an exciting journey.

CURATE KIDS

Curate is for the whole family, so at every gathering, we will have a full kids program catering for ages 1-13years old and a parent's room where you can be a part of the gathering while being able to care for your babies and little ones.

PARKING

There is limited parking on-site for young families and our elderly members, however there is ample parking available in our nearby carpark (our parking team will direct you) and surrounding streets (just look for our flags).

Get to Know Us

Curate Auckland is the newest location of Curate Church. Our building is in Kingsland, 44 George St, and the people who call it home are from throughout the city.

Curate started in Mt Maunganui and has grown into what it is today. It is known for being authentic, reaching people from all walks of life, and dynamic teaching and worship.

Joel and Katie are the lead pastors of Curate. They have four children, Alessandro, Micah, Charlie and Violet. They have been in ministry for over 16 years and bring leadership, authenticity, vision and family to Curate and the wider church. They are co lead pastors, with Joel focused on vision and teaching and Katie the culture and staff. They are both gifted communicators and anointed leaders who love God, love people and want to see people come to Jesus, be restored and learn to walk and work with God in their lives.

Curate means to care for the soul, and that pretty much sums up how we do life at Curate Church.

Tim & Amy Cleary

Tim and Amy are pastors at Curate Auckland. They take care of all things big and small at this location, including small groups, kids and the team as a whole. They deeply love Auckland City and the people within it and are excited for the incredible things God is going to do within and throughout this community of people.

Peni Peleti

Peni Peleti is our Worship Co-Ordinator. To know him is to love him. He loves worship, loves people and loves God.

Alex Woods

Alex is our Events & Operations Coordinator. His role involves making everything run smoothly on a Sunday and throughout the week - all whilst helping people pursue the way of Jesus and loving on our Curate Auckland whānau. A serious coffee lover and adventure enthusiast, Alex and his wife Robyn are always down for a good board game session with friends.
