Intermediates & Youth Pastor
ARE YOU OUR NEW MOUNT MAUNGANUI INTERMEDIATES & YOUTH PASTOR?
This leadership role (32 hours per week) involves developing, growing and caring for the Intermediates & Youth demographic within Curate Church.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Providing dynamic, powerful, fun and engaging Intermediates and Youth gatherings /social hangouts
• Developing a team of leaders to disciple and care for the Intermediates and Youth in and outside of organised gatherings and events
• Providing pastoral care to Intermediates and Youth
• Activating the Intermediates and Youth in the life of Curate Church, helping them to discover and play their part in Jesus’s story
The successful applicant will:
Be highly organised and able to remain focused and calm while working with youth
Be passionate about seeing youth live their best lives and reach their full potential
Love working as part of a team
Be able to identify, inspire, care for and develop volunteer teams
Have great verbal and written communication skills
Be high in responsibility and diligence
Be spiritually mature and non-judgemental in nature
Ideally you will also have experience in planning and delivering programmes which are fun and inspiring young people to grow spiritually
